Experience more of Cyprus with a week in the Larnaca area and a week in the family resort of Pernera.
 
With so much to see and do in Larnaca from cultural sites such as the Sultan Tekke mosque or St Lazarus Church to the bustling Larnaca seafront at Phinikoudes Beach with its many cafes and restaurants.  Just behind is old Larnaca with its traditional tavernas and great shopping.  Drive a little further afield and discover many pretty villages such as Pervolia with its quaint church square and tavernas that are perfect for whiling an evening away.
For the more energetic Larnaca has some great diving sites and Pervolia offers cycle hire – a great way to enjoy the countryside.  For the children, visit the Camel Park near Mazotos or Dreamland near Tersefanou.
 
The resort of Pernera is quieter than its near neighbour Protaras, with some lovely beaches offering crystal clear waters, restaurants to satisfy all tastes and budgets and lots to see and do in the near vicinity such as the fun of Water World in Agia Napa.  The new boardwalk enables you to walk from Pernera all the way to the famous Fig Tree Bay in Protaras.  There are watersports a plenty on the many beaches in the area or take a glass bottom boat trip to the border and see Famagusta followed by snorkelling in the beautiful clear waters of the Blue Lagoon.
 

The Accommodation:

Pyla Gardens is a brand new luxury complex consisting of 5 blocks built around a central free form pool.  The fully air conditioned two bedroom penthouses are furnished to an extremely high standard with fully fitted kitchens, master bedroom with ensuite shower room, twin bedroom, family bathroom, spacious lounge with leather sofas, TV and DVD with satellite.  Outside you will find a huge terrace with sofas and loungers to enjoy private bathing.  The pool area is a great place to meet other families and children.  Pyla Gardens also has a tennis court for guests.
 
The complex is located in the traditional village of Pyla approximately 14km from the centre of Larnaca and 4km from the Cyprus Tourism endorsed Larnaca Tourist Beach.  Pyla has a couple of supermarkets and tavernas if you don’t fancy driving.  Try the Village Tavern where you’ll receive a warm welcome from Denise and Theo.
 
Just 50 minutes drive from Pyla brings you to your villa in Pernera.  You can choose from a variety of villas (subject to availability), on the popular Crystal Lagoon, Polyxenia Resort or Blue River, each with their own private pool and all within walking distance of the beach and the many restaurants.  All are air conditioned and beautifully furnished with en-suite shower rooms and family bathrooms along with a guest toilet downstairs.  All have TV and DVD with satellite and PS2’s.  Outside you will find a BBQ and a variety of pool toys to keep the children happy.
 
This really is a great way to enjoy Cyprus and keep the whole family happy too!  Prices are from £1350 for two weeks accommodation.  A car is recommended, please ask when booking if you would like a quote.
